The “Help Us, Help You” campaign is encouraging the public to contact their GP practice if they are worried about symptoms of abdominal and urological cancers.

Screening is for people without any symptoms of breast cancer. Anybody with symptoms should be referred on the appropriate pathway, such as 2 week wait (2ww) or breast pain pathway.

Every 15 minutes somebody is diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK, that’s nearly 43,000 people each year.

We would always prefer to see you sooner with a cancer that is easier to treat, than later with one that isn’t.
