Following the recent publication of the gambling white paper, NHS England Midlands is pleased to announce that from June 20th, NHS Gambling Harms clinics will be available across the whole Midlands Region to people who are 18 years old and above, and have problems with their gambling, resulting in harm to themselves and other people.

The West Midlands NHS Gambling Harms Clinic provides specialist addiction therapies, treatment and recovery to those affected by gambling addiction and gambling problems. The West Midlands Gambling Harms Clinic offers its services to people who are registered with a GP in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Telford and Wrekin, Shropshire, Birmingham, Solihull, Black Country, Coventry, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Following a discussion with a person who is worried about their gambling, and with their consent, you can refer them to the clinic for help using their secure online referral form. Alternatively, patients can also be directed to self-refer to the clinic. The website also contains a wealth of self-help materials and information and support for families and carer.
